Girls Night Out

OMG....what a night! I had a blast.....I can't believe everything that was planned....it was just perfect!!

We started out at my cousin Kimmy's quick meeting spot, some snacks and presents






Pre~funked a bit at our house.......oh yes....there was Jello~O Shots! Nummy!!





The "Last Night Out" transportation.....thanks to Cousin Brenda!! What a fun time!!



Destination three.....Chop Stixs.....love that place! We got there and the girls had decorated the table so pretty for me.....pink roses and even Raspberry Chocolates......



Oh and yes they made me sit on the piano to be made fun of to the fullest.....



Next came the DARE'S......turns out I've never played DARE quite like this before.....dirty, dirty, dirty!! LOL Here's the first one that was handed to me......leave it to Kimmy....mind you I was only like two drinks into the night "Sober Sally"....but I did it! I told myself....Jenn....you only get this night once....live it up baby! I was so proud of myself :) The best part is if I did the DARE then they had to buy me the shot on the other side of the card. I dont know how many shots I did this night, but it was A LOT! Loved every minute of it!!


I DID IT!! WHOOO~HOOOOO!!!! I think this dare came with a "Gator Hater" or something like that. :)

Oh and I discovered that I love me some "Cosmo"!!



Oh and we can't forget to mention my favorite accessory the "Rainbow Penis Sucker" Oh yeah!! Ok by this time it must be official.....I've had a few more then two drinks now. LOL

Ok and dare number (not sure what number this was, but OMG)....yes it's true....I had to find a guy and ask him for a condom and then blow the sucker up. This is not an easy task....as you can see.....



However I almost got it.....



Then it shot out of my mouth and landed on thier table....OOPS!! :) So funny!!

OH and the after party.....back at our place.....there were "SHOT GUNS" on my carpet down stairs....now that's a party!! LOL



Then of course the stripper and his crazy dance moves.....oh my was he just not that fabulous! HA!

Baby Talk

So James' co-workers are at it again (they crack me up)......James came back to his desk today to find this.....

So funny!! I love it!!

I called James and asked him "what are we having a baby?" and then I wanted to know "how did they know I wanted a girl?"

I then told James that there's a Pelican carring the baby.....ummm....well it turns out another "major blonde moment"......Pelican's dont carry the babies....it's the Stork! Opsie Daisie!! LOL

So now it's got me thinking.....Maui & Babies....OMG so if we were to get preggonated (I think I just made that word up) in Maui does that mean I'd have to name my baby a Hawaiian name?

I'll have to make sure I take the lovely "rain coats" my mom gave me for my shower.....Ohhhh....they are even tropical (and in case you have not read this on my blog already they have holes poked in them with diaper pins)!

Invitations Have Gone Out

Now that I’ve sent all the invites out (well almost all…..I still need a few addresses) I can post my invites on-line….it’s no longer a surprise.

Totally fit the theme of our Maui wedding and you’ll notice we are having everyone RSVP to my Maid of Honor (my sister Kerri) via email….we figured since everyone is pretty email savvy these days it made the most sense (and saved us an extra stamp….shhhhhh…).

I can’t wait to marry James in Maui and to celebrate with everyone when we return. See you all soon!!

Flip Flops Galore....

Old Navy was having their $1 flip flop sale......I recruited my sister, Kerri and Stacey (soon to be sister in law) to come with me and purchase some for me. There was a limit of 5 per person. I needed 20 so I'm currently 5 short....another trip to the store is due soon.

So Stacey gets there first and there is a line out the door to even get into the store....really....OMG....so I meet her in the line and it takes about 15 minutes or so to get inside. Well once in there we realize there is like no selection of colors at all....so I opt to get all white for the girls and blue for the boys......works for me! So we grab what we can and go to get in line to pay....OMG....are you kidding me....the line is wrapped around the entire store....and the wait...1 1/2 hours....WHAT!!

So we get in line and wait, and wait, and wait some more. Kerri finally gets there only to join us in line. I start to get light headed....so I have to leave the girls in line and go sit down for a hot second in the dressing room. I think it was the overwhelming smell of rubber from all the flip flops! I start feeling better and meet them back in line....feels like we have not moved at all!

So we are getting closer and a bunch of the Old Navy workers decided to roll out all these carts filled with new flip flops.....OMG....they have pink....I rush over and pick out 10 pink flip flops people must think I'm crazy! Why would anyone need that many pink flip flops?

Well I'm adding them to my welcome bags in Maui...Pink for the Girls & Blue for the Guys! :) I'm excited for all the fun goodies I'm adding to them, but I can't give away all of them until after the wedding or it wouldn't be a surprise!

So an 1 1/2 hours or so goes by and we are at the front of the line....we paid and were out! Oh but before we leave the store it's blog time.....

Yes....I made Kerri & Stacey take a pick inside Old Navy with me before we left....LOL...people look at us like we were "new" and had never been to Old Navy before. It was funny

After Old Navy the three of us went down to the Farmer's Market and had lunch and coffee....good times!!

Sticky Situation

Ok, so you no one would ever believe this to happen but it did....I went to Safeway on a normal after work outing to get dinner for James and I. Then when I left I thought oh crap....I forgot to get a nice gel pen for my invites.....so I dropped into Walgreens real quick (in the same parking lot). I get out of the car and go to brush my hair away from me like I always do, but to my surprise my hand gets stuck in my hair....yes you read this correctly....my hand got stuck in my hair! Someone put super glue in my hair....OMG....I ended up having a major freak out session in Walgreen's with a very nice lady who was down to have a drama moment with me. :) Then I left and called James.....all I could think was to get home!



I get home and instantly James and I get online....we search everything we can think of to try and find out how to get super glue out of hair....not too many options...and the most popular answer is "to cut it"! Ummmm.....NOOOOOOOO!!!



So the next major break down happens....I start to think OMG REALLY....really I might have to cut my hair off a month before my wedding.....devastating!



The next step is James runs to the store and picks up Acetone & Baby Oil....two of the top choices on line, he comes home and we start in on the "let's try this" sessions.

BRING ON THE WINE!!






First I try soaking my hair in hot soapy water.....no luck!





Second we try acetone.....no luck!





Third I take a shower and wash and condition the crap out of my hair....no luck! Notice there was no "we" in the third option.......dang it.....LOL!!





Fourth.....James tries the acetone again....no luck!





Fifth....James calls my sister....and say's ummmm....Kerri....I think we need your help...I don't know what to do. :)





Sixth....Kerri shows up with Tristen....It was so cute....Tristen says "Aunt Jenn...did a bad guy hurt your hair"?





Seventh....The brushing and cutting begins....it felt like I was cutting out so much hair....I think only because it was long strips, small strips, clumps and so on. Really it ended up being less then when you get your hair trimmed. Thank goodness!!






So during this process James is taking pictures of me....and in my head I'm thinking what in the world is he thinking? Does he want me to cry more? Then he says that he's taking these pictures because he knows I will want to blog about this later.....omg....it's official he knows about the crazy blogging addiction that I have! So Funny!!




I was so upset I apperantly decided that it would be a good idea to pull my face as hard as I could to one side....ummm....

Boogie.....

So James and I decided that we were going to go to Costco to look for fencing materials, we would like to build a kennel area outside for our puppy dog “Sadie J”. Instead we found the wedding shirts for the guys! Perfect!! Who would have thought at Costco…..and for only $20 dollars…..can’t beat it! My favorite part is that they have little brown buttons with Palms tree’s on them. Ohhhh……and they are powder blue!

So when we left we decided that we would get a Churros and Iced Coffee….nummy! We are in the car heading over to Tom’s house so him and Mac can try the shirts on and I had just taken a bite of the Churros….so I had a full mouth….then James said something funny….and I laughed, but I couldn't do a “mouth laugh” because it was full….so it comes out as a “nose laugh” and in the process……this giant booger comes flying out of my nose onto James somewhere!

OMG….this only makes me laugh harder and he freaks out and says “OMG so gross……the wedding is off” (jokingly)!! He for some reason thinks I only pee…..nothing else!! So we finally get to Tom’s house (I’m still laughing) and to James’ surprise my giant booger is just sitting there right on his seatbelt….right where you have to press to get the seatbelt off…..he started freaking out again and was like “get it off, get it off”……OMG I’m laughing so hard at this point I’m crying….I’m surprised I have not pee’d my pants yet! I can't stop laughing.....I'm too the point of snorting now.....So I get a napkin and get it off….all is good….he’s booger free and we can proceed with our day!!

Maybe you had to be there, but this was one of the funniest/embarrassing moments for me ever!!

How can you tell you have “True Love”…….just blow a booger out your nose at them and see what happens. LOL!

Wedding Shower @ Aunt Debbie's

One of the highlights of the shower was definatly the when we played the "NewlyWed Game"!

James was so quick to answer all the questions that My Cousin Sara and him had pre-recorded a few days before (without me knowing....they were good at keeping it from me). Then during my shower I was asked the same questions and I turned into a "Deer in the Headlights"! I thought to myself....OMG, Jenn get it together....it's as if every answer I could of said just left my brain....as I start getting sweaty because I'm so nervous that all eyes are on me....I just sit there and stared...ummmm....ummmm.....who would of known I was going to be so nervous?

I did finally end up getting all of my answers out after a bit of time. It was defianatly funny! I think we matched on like 2 or 3 correctly and some James answered and I thought...."wow he knows me better then I know myself".

I am so glad that they did this for our shower....it's great to have and will be such a fun memory for the furture years to look back on. I definatly love it!!

My Aunt Debbie threw me my Wedding Shower at her house....and the whole day was fabulous! It was of course "Hawaiian" theme and I ended up wearing one of my Hawaii dresses....you can tell that my mind has already checked out and is in Hawaii waiting for me! :)

P.S. I have not the slightest clue what I am doing with my fingers? It looks like it hurts! Weird!! LOL

Ok.....now the next gift needs to have the story that goes along with it. :) My mom is a bit twisted at times (Love You Mom) and you can never quite know what to expect. So opening her gift I was a little worried....LOL! I opened it and saw hand towels and I thought oh good.....safe! Ummmm....not the case...right under the hand towels were these......

Tropical flavored (for Hawaii) condoms with baby diaper pins threw every one of them and a pacifier....she said that "She poked holes in all of our condom's so she could have grandbabies sooner then later" SO FUNNY!!

So of couse we all laughed.....it was great!! We have yet to use them!! :)

We can't forget the cake....nummy!!

It was such a great day and I had a blast!! Thanks to everyone for coming and sharing in my day with me and a special thanks to Aunt Debbie for going all out for the party! It was the best!!
